Political Turmoil
Iran-Contra (Upper Left) -”Wire in a fire, represent the seven games a government for hire in a combat site” This refers to the corruption in the US government where Oliver North helped by the Reagan administration sold over thirty million dollars worth of guns to Iran to fund a secret operation in Nicaragua.

Iran Hostages (Upper Right) -”Six o’clock, TV hour, don’t get caught in a foreign tower/ Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn” This lyric refers to the Iran Hostage situation and the inability of the Carter Administration to return the hostages, who were captured in “a foreign tower”. US special forces who tried to rescue the hostage crashed one of the helicopters, consequently the other one had to return to base.

The World Chess Championship 1972 (Bottom Left) - “Tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies.” This refers to the World Chess Championship of 1972 when American Bobby Fischer defeated Soviet born defending champion Boris Spassky. This is ironic because of the civility of the two representatives during the Cold War.

Reagan and the Star Wars (Bottom Right) - “Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives, and I decline” This refers to how the Reagan administration pushed the USSR further and further in the space and military race, even when the USSR offered several peace treaties that were all rejected by the United States.
