Doomsday
Revelation 11:19- “That’s great it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes an aeroplane”. This lyric refers to the passage in the book of Revelation, the book that predicts the end of the Earth, that signals the beginning of the end.

Furies- “Left her, wan’t coming in a hurry/ With the Furies breathing down your neck”. This lyric refers to Greek mythology. Furies were baneful gods of revenge and war. Both of which were prevalent throughout the Cold War.

Continental Drift- “The other night I dreamt a nice continental drift divide” This lyric alludes to the continental plates drifting apart, also a symbol for the end of the world.
