Steps of the Project: 

 -For our project,  we wanted to create a website that would analyze the lyrics of the song "It's the End of the World" into three different categories. We decided to make the categories into LB's, Political Turmoil, and Doomsday. These three categories breakdown the song, which ranges from political turmoil in the United States throughout the 70s and 80s. While the song is widely recognized, even the big REM fans would have trouble understanding all of the allusions that the song makes, therefore by researching these allusions from a historical perspective we have made the information easily accesible for everyone to enjoy. In doing this we have found how the references added to the meaning of the song, which is a political commentary of the time it was written.
